Mahindra for the Nano, which works with kereta sport Ssangyong Rs 4 lakh sub-SUV [Business India]

 Mahindra kereta Ssangyong sport..

MUMBAI: If you are looking for energy efficiency, is the best small car. If adventure and a muscular look and feel, what you'd rather go into a sports utility vehicle (SUV) would be your choice of wheels. But what if you are looking for both mileage and the joys of off-road look - a jawdropping price?
Say hello to the mini-SUV, the first vehicle of its kind in India - and perhaps the world - that the commercial vehicle major Mahindra & Mahindra (M & M) with Ssangyong, South Korea developed SUV manufacturer acquired last year. Code name of the S101, the "nano" SUV - with motors from 1 to 1.2 liters of gasoline and diesel powered engines of 1.5 liters - as mentioned by some workers in the M & M workshop. Work on the project began a year ago, say the people working on it, and vehicles will roll-out of M & M factory in Chakan in the outskirts of Pune - where XUV500 newlylaunched is produced - in 26 to 28 months. Estimated Range: Rs 3 lakh between lakh and Rs fourth
The price is remarkable because most of the mini-SUV - usually less than 4 m in length - high quality products. The Jeep Wrangler, Nissan and Skoda Yeti Juke are some of the best-selling SUV and mini compact in the world, but their price is definitely a bonus - the Yeti, for example, sold in India over Rs 14 lakh on.
When M & M may withdraw at this price, the S101 is the only mini-SUV would do in this price range anywhere in the world. To continue the analogy with nano, it would be for these SUVs Tata Motors for cars by an entirely new category of ultra-low cost have made.
The design of the S101 is the first joint development of the M & M Ssangyong combined. For the South Korean manufacturer of sport utility vehicles is the low cost segment foreign, and therefore a welcome addition to the offer.
There is another reason for the two M & M and Ssangyong are in this segment: In India, passenger car equipped with four-meter by 1.2-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel in order to gain more control of lower consumption 10% (for large cars, it is 22%). In South Korea, the vehicle is a turbo-1-liter engine in this segment does not attract a levy, with the exception of a VAT of 10%.
